I.**Position Summary:
In the Astea database, the Inventory Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of all assets at retail locations, technician vans, and warehouse/storage locations. Will also assist in warehouse duties as workload requires including shipping, receiving, and maintaining parts inventories.

II.**Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Maintain assets in database including installed locations, technician vans, remote warehouses, and bench warehouses.
- Contact technicians, leads, and managers as needed to resolve equipment location conflicts.
- Periodically audit technician equipment usage and inform management of any patterns of deficiency.
- Communicate via phone and email with technicians and managers to resolve any conflicting information.
- Assists in maintaining acceptable levels of parts and equipment for local technicians.
- Backup and/or assist warehouse personnel during peak workload or covering absence.
III.**Position Requirements/Skills & Abilities
- A high school diploma
- PC skills – data entry experience desired
- Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel
- Ability to work all shifts
- Ability to work overtime
- Ability to work holidays and weekends
- Ability to push, pull, lift and move up to 100 lbs
- Ability to push, pull and maneuver heavy equipment in excess of 500 pounds
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, stretch at a minimum of 50% of the time for any or all of the movements described
- Ability to climb onto or off a ladder
- Forklift certified desired
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.50 per hour
