Inventory Control Specialist
This key position ensures adequate levels of inventory are maintained by continuously updating and monitoring the automated inventory system and warehouse stock locations. Responsible for picking components, receiving and stocking incoming material, and coordinating shipments daily.

What we need you to do here:
· Daily picking and removing inventory. Updating inventory to maintain proper levels needed to fulfill customer orders timely.
· Kitting component inventory to be staged and accurate for Assembly. Removing Bills of Materials once picked.
· Generating shipping documents for all shipments (domestic or international) using UPS WorldShip, FedEx, LTL and Full truckload. Making contact, as-needed, to assure successful transfer of goods to consignee.
· Regularly communicating with Purchasing, Engineering and Sales regarding items needed to support business operations.
· Coordinating with logistics providers and consignee to ensure best cost shipment methods are utilized.
· Packaging and shipping for all component orders.
· Overseeing all incoming freight and parcel shipments by counting, inspecting, receiving in purchase orders, and put-away of component stock.
· Reporting any vendor discrepancies and/or shipping damages (with pictures) to Purchaser.
· Maintaining inventory accuracy through regular cycle counting and investigation/resolution for discrepancies.
· Participating in annual physical inventory counts and other inventory projects as directed.
· Entering in-house purchase orders and production orders as needed.
The skills and experience that will set you up for success in this role include:
· A high school diploma or GED, and three or more years of progressive inventory experience in a component-based manufacturing facility;
· Strong organizational and communication skills;
· Ability to problem solve and drive issues to resolution;
· Strong computer skills including experience with Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and Infor (or other inventory management system);
· In-depth knowledge of inventory processes and systems;
· Willingness to receive forklift training and obtain certification;
· Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
