Description
Bollinger Motors is seeking ambitious and high-energy individuals to participate in our 2024 internship program. You will work closely with team members on daily, real-world challenges and will help support our high-performance team to design and launch our products.
The interns chosen will finish their internship at Bollinger Motors having gained broad experience in various aspects of product life cycle, milestone deliverable management, and corporate structure through project-based assignments. This is an in-person role at the company's Oak Park, MI headquarters.
The program is optimized for students, and applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university or trade school. Individuals who successfully demonstrate the qualities desirable for success at Bollinger Motors may be invited to return during semester breaks, or selected to apply for full time opportunities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate in an internship program where you will gain exposure to specific stages of Program Management development such as program timelines, budget, risk assessment and support manufacturing.
- Be the glue that interfaces and interacts with various aspects of startup electric truck manufacturing environments to make sure that risks are identified and documented.
- Collaborate with a fast-paced, extremely talented team that values collaboration and delivers high-quality results.
- Learn and apply best practices and standards in Program Management to support engineering, purchasing, manufacturing and quality departments.
- Work in an agile start-up environment with daily standups and continuous integration.
Requirements
We are focused on building a great team and beyond the technical skills, we require humility and teamwork. We expect to work in the office full-time, and we are a dog friendly company.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Masters program majoring in Engineering, Finance or Program Management.
- Positive, professional and outgoing personality with the ability to work both in a team environment and directly with individuals.
- Enthusiasm and desire to learn and be successful in vehicle development.
- Self-starter that is punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Highly organized, self-managed
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Strong ability to be flexible and multi-task.
- Available for minimum 20+ hours a week
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Must be able to work in the United States.
