This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for AcqDemo Business and Technical Management Career Path (NH) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: Serves as the Action Officer for foreign countries responsible for the total managing of Foreign Military Sales programs which involves the continual development, planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of all programs for the foreign countries.Qualifications: Who May Apply:

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02/GS-11 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal service that includes: 1) Having detailed and comprehensive knowledge of the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs, policies, and regulations; 2) Awareness of Interoperability between US and foreign customers of a major weapon system; 3) Experience providing some of the following: peer reviews, quality assurance, standardization, technical evaluations, pricing letters, case management or Sensitivity Statements.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-02/GS-11.
