Departmental Objective:The LifeLong Learning Society (LLS) of Christopher Newport University is a membership organization dedicated to persons of retirement age who seek opportunities for learning in an environment of sharing, fellowship, and intellectual curiosity.
Purpose of the Position:The Administrative Assistant and Conference Coordinator will provide managerial and administrative support to the overall program of the LifeLong Learning Society, provide financial support by making deposits, processing payroll, and keeping financial records, and serve as primary coordinator for both annual conferences sponsored by the LifeLong Learning Society (Gardening Symposium and Writers Conference) and trips.

- Experience in word processing and data entry.
