About the role:
Dr. Squatch is looking for a talented Integrations Specialist to join our Business Systems team. The Integrations Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining software systems and integrations in our enterprise resource planning (ERP) ecosystem. NetSuite is our ERP software, and the ecosystem includes NetSuite and a handful of related tools that are integrated to NetSuite. The overarching objective for the Integrations Engineer is to ensure that NetSuite reliably produces accurate and complete financial and operational data through our iPaaS solution Boomi.
The Integrations Specialist will have the opportunity to learn from other technical resources on the team who are highly knowledgeable about NetSuite and the other tools we use. The Integrations Engineer will also collaborate with and learn from technical resources on other teams when needed, including our Data and Web teams.
This role will report to the Sr. Manager, Business Systems
This is a full-time, hybrid role with company benefits based in Marina del Rey, CA.
The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $70,000 to $90,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.
What You'll Do:
- Build and maintain integrations using Boomi as an iPaaS between NetSuite and other tools including Shopify, Parity Factory, SPS Commerce and 3PL systems
- Monitor performance logs in Boomi, NetSuite and other tools to identify bugs, determine the root cause of those bugs, and then resolve them
- Write code or scripts in Boomi and NetSuite that accomplish objectives that can't be achieved with the out-of-the-box features in our tools
- Document technical knowledge pertaining to Boomi and NetSuite to help the rest of the team gain a better understanding of how our systems operate and integrate with each other
- Help develop EDI connections using Celigo and NetSuite
- Partner with others on the team to brainstorm and develop the best approach to implement new features
- Proactively identify and suggest opportunities to improve and optimize our integrations and the way we use them (e.g., Optimize Boomi flows, reduce manual monitoring for integrations errors, etc.)
About You:
- Understanding of system integrations, data engineering, or related fields
- Understanding of integrations and middleware technologies such as SOAP, REST, JSON, XML, and EDI
- Strong desire to learn new skills and software tools and to grow quickly
- Proficiency with a scripting language or other software development experience
- Experience working with SQL or other querying languages
- Experience working with large data sets is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Interest in health and wellness, personal care, and/or eCommerce industries
- Experience working in the consumer products industry is a plus
- Someone who gets things done without perfect resources is innovative and works with a sense of urgency
