9 PMINTAKE SPECIALIST
Primary responsibility is to conduct screening/triage for all new outpatient clients, record collected information (demographic data, insurance coverage, clinical information) in electronic health record, and schedule client intake appointments.
Part-time,Non-exempt
Pay Range begins at $18.00/hour
Schedule: Mon, Wed, Thurs 4PM-9 PM / Tues 3PM-8 PM
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or receptionist background preferred. Ability to multitask is required. Must possess and demonstrate a high level of computer knowledge, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent phone manner and communication skills are essential.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk, using the phone, and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
Valid Driver’s license required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Answer incoming calls and ensure that all callers are assisted appropriately. Provide information about agency programs and services.
- Greet and check-in clients upon arrival. Collect co-pays and client fees at time of service. Ask, “Have there been any changes to your insurance, address, phone number?” Provide new client with McCall “welcome”/informational packet.
- Scan/copy documents to electronic health record and referral source when appropriate.
- Processes and tracks Requests for Information/Records Requests for all agency programs and direct to appropriate staff person.
- Scanning, faxing, etc.
- Appointment reminder phone calls for psychiatric and evaluation appointments (normally completed by evening receptionist).
- Other duties as assigned.
