Job Description:
Greenwoods is seeking an Intake Specialist to join our clinical administrative office. Essential skills for the position include careful attention to detail, customer service orientation, growth mindset, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities include:
- Answer clinical telephone lines and field incoming calls from clients, providers, and community members.
- Schedule appointments in a timely manner; requires an understanding of the different types of appointments.
- Greet clients and assist with intake paperwork.
- Explain GCR’s mission and the process of a mental health assessment.
- Place confirmation calls for new clients.
- Maintain all GCR clinical calendars for office and each individual GCR clinician.
- Maintain a comprehensive clinical filing system.
- Enter post service data.
- Inform Clinical Office Manager of all problems in a timely manner
- Complete verification of employee eligibility & benefits for new clients as quickly as possible.
- Articulate knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures, and systems.
- Provide office assistance as needed.
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); ability to communicate in a warm, calm and effective manner.
- Proven ability to master and maintain web-based services and scheduling programs, requires attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel

- Proficient in use of computer and office equipment; fax, copier, scanner and printer
- Proficient in multiple line telephone system.
- Experience working in healthcare is preferred but not required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
