The Commercial Lines Account Manager role provides customer service by supporting both Agency clients, peer Account Managers and Account Executives on existing and new accounts. The Account Manager focuses on the customer service side of the insurance sales cycle, they manage and nurture customer relationships, and lead most client communications. Their responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries, explaining coverage and premiums, informing clients on any policy or billing changes, and facilitating the claims process between clients and the adjuster. Account managers work closely with the rest of the team to enable ongoing and future sales or renewals.

The ideal candidate must have high integrity, be a self- motivated, adaptable, and energetic person who is able to provide exceptional customer service in a fast paced, team atmosphere. Must have prior COMMERCIAL LINES industry experience.

- A minimum of 3 years prior Account Manager and Insurance experience is required
- Prior Applied EPIC experience is essential
- A Valid insurance license in Commercial Lines Property and Casualty Insurance is required

Duties:The goal of this position is to be a customer service champion for policyholders, providing and maintaining a best-in-class customer service "brand" that has been part of our Agency's DNA for over 90 years. Consult with clients and Account Executives to help process quotes and issue renewals or any updates needed on current policies Assist with collecting of new business and renewal data for quoting/marketing purposes Give clear answers to clients on any coverage or billing questions including information on rate increases or policy changes to ensure full understanding Engage existing and prospective clients by phone and email as a trusted insurance advisor Update policy changes on customer account and inform clients about policy changes Maintain and document accurate customer service files in agency management system Support the customer service process with telephone calls, data entry, email, faxing, copying, and other similar administrative task, Review new business, renewals, and endorsements to insure items were received as ordered Respond to client inquiries, incoming mail, company requests and Account Executive needs on a timely basis Issue ID cards, evidence of insurance, process endorsements/audits/renewals/invoices and check policies as technical ability allow Utilize Management System to maintain client, policy, transactions and attachments records Follow and execute Management System work flows as defined by the Agency Transact agency and direct bill premiums and invoice clients Support the customer service process with telephone calls, data entry, email, faxing, copying, and other similar administrative tasks Assist client in gathering documentation and reporting claims to carriers Regularly meet with or talk to company representatives to keep up with industry standards in underwriting, insurance products and marketing Other duties as assigned Maintain and develop strong client and company relationships with company marketing, underwriting and claims personnel. Participate in any special projects at management's request. This role allows you to build, and be compensated, for additional new business opportunities that you solicit and acquire
