What you'll do:
- Apply instructional design theories and models to set learning objectives, defineAZ measurements of success, and create content for technical and professional development training initiatives
- Collaborate with business units and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design training programs aligned with competencies, technical needs and strategic learning opportunities
- Develop instructional materials including e-learning content, interactive workshops, facilitation guides, resource materials, exercises, assessments, and multimedia content
- Project management of multiple learning projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope
- Build assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of the learning outcomes
- Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design
- Maintain, update, and enhance training programs
- Support the maintenance of the Learning Management System
What you bring:
- 2-5 years experience in Instructional Design
- Associates degree or higher
- Prior AEC experience strongly preferred
- Experience implementing competency framework model
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Experience with designing learning programs preferably for online and blended learning programs
- Strong writing skills in instructional text, audio and video scripts
- Proficiency in e-learning development software (e.g. Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline)
- Audio/Video production and editing a plus (Camtasia, Premier Pro, Vyond etc.)
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or other graphic design tools
- Experience with Learning Management Systems
- Self-starter attitude that thrives on challenging the status quo
- Ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities in a fast-paced and challenging environment
