The Role
OWL Services has an immediate opening for a full-time Senior Instructional Designer located in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area.
The successful candidate will be a dependable self-starter able to work autonomously, have a mix of creative and learning design as well as learning technology management skills, and will take initiative and have pride in their work. Must have excellent attention to detail and a strong drive for results, along with being able to lead multiple projects with a project management approach.
The Senior Instructional Designer is responsible for performing instructional design work, facilitating online learning courses/modules, developing and delivering virtual and face-to-face programs, and taking ownership of an LMS. The Senior Instructional Designer will work closely with the Training and Development management team, create curriculum from scratch, develop metrics that illustrate ROI and measure the value of programs, and communicate with stakeholders to promote collaboration and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Directs the design and development of training curriculum to be implemented within a LMS (Docebo).
- Administers all training programs within the LMS and maintains the system for end users.
- Designs and develops creative learning content tied to the employee development training strategy.
- Assists with defining the key metrics and outcomes of training delivery with return-on-investment reporting and other dashboards.
- Analyzes current practices, process, and standards to evaluate training opportunities and facilitates gap analysis to provide training recommendations across the organization.
- Facilitates design workshops with business leaders and manages an intake process for project management.
- Designs and develops professional training courses for frontline leadership and other leadership development programs.
- Manages the training vendor relationships for learning technology and instructional design tools.
- Manages and oversees all learning technology and development tools, to include authoring tools tied to learning technologies.

- Docebo LMS experience and administration.
- Microsoft 360 w/SharePoint development experience.
- Ability to lead teams to execute projects and deliverables in a fast and growing environment.
- Experience leading the administration of LMS or LCMS learning technologies.
- Adobe Suite Premier and Creative Cloud experience, along with other graphic design tools.
- 7-10 years of instructional design and/or graphic design experience.
- 5-7 years of experience leading teams.
- High degree of business acumen and strategic thinking.
- Ability to influence change and gain buy-in through partnership and collaboration.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
