Instructional Designer

Position Purpose:

The Content Creator leads and manages the instructional design, development of instructor-led, on-the-job, and computer-based training courses that support defi Solutions application portfolio. This role is responsible for the successful implementation of training systems and principals in coordination with the broader HR team. This role entails end-to-end training design, development and deployment activities in support of defi Solutions. This role will provide coaching on training requirements, adult learning principles, curriculum design support and alignment to local training processes and with global and/or regulatory requirements.

• Define clear and measurable learning objectives based on the identified needs, ensuring alignment with the course's overall goals
• Design a comprehensive course structure, including the layout of modules, lessons, and assessments, ensuring a logical flow of content
• Gather material from SMEs, then either structure it using a standard storyboard format or adopt a rapid development strategy for eLearning module creation

• Support, Maintain, encourage, engage, and empower a learning culture for trainees and for the defi Solutions’s customers and organization.
• Act as an effective change agent.
• Develop training KPIs that measure the effectiveness of training programs, return on investments, and support business goals and objectives.
• Align, coach, and develop training programs that drive an increase in overall training effectiveness and the empowerment of defi Solutions personnel.
• Design and develop training courses using various instructional design methodologies while incorporating adult learning principles.
• Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content
• Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify target audience’s training needs.
• Drive continuous improvement for training programs

Required education and experience:

• BA or BS in adult education, business, or equivalent with 3+ years of experience in training creation and delivery
  or
• Master’s degree and 2+ years of experience in training creation and delivery
• 5+ years of experience designing and deploying computer based training
• Demonstrated capability of technical expertise (Microsoft Suite, Articulate 360, Adobe Software, Epiplex, etc.), project management capabilities.
• Proven knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
• Proven time management skills to effectively coordinate multiple projects
• Fluency in LMS and Content Creation Solutions
• Must be able to develop and enhance professional relationships
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills

Preferred education and experience:

• Experience using Camtasia or similar video editing software
• Previous experience working in auto finance
• PMP Certification
