Job Title: Industrial Engineer
Location: Auburn Hills, MI (On-site)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical data packages and product requirements, translating them into facility and equipment requirements.
- Assist in the planning and design of manufacturing and assembly facilities.
- Apply lean principles to an existing product design and manufacturing processes by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.
- Recommend layout and capital equipment expenditures for a production facility.
- Maintain a direct interface with customers to ensure project success.
- Work cooperatively within an integrated team to deliver exceptional results.
- Execute productions systems simulation, including material flow, and facility layout.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of process, industrial, or manufacturing engineering experience required, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Possess strong knowledge of manufacturing systems planning and implementation.
- Experience using ProPlanner and FlexSim software package for manufacturing simulations is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, Project, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Local and overnight travel to company or customer facilities is required.
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder and have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
