Systems Administrator

Schedule:
Full Time: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday
Position Summary:
LECO Corporation is searching for a full-time, long-term Systems Administrator. The responsibilities for this position include the implementation, troubleshooting, and support of the corporate data center servers, Azure environment, and networks used by the administrative and manufacturing systems of LECO. The administrator should be experienced and familiar with Microsoft technologies, such as Active Directory, Azure AD, DNS/DHCP, GPOs, Virtualization (Hyper-V, Azure), Exchange, Azure, M365, and SharePoint.
Position Responsibilities:
- Adhere closely to established standards and best practices
- Maintain thorough documentation
- Monitor and ensure the reliability and integrity of the network and servers while maximizing uptime
- Identify and resolve on-prem and Azure server and network problems
- Assume primary responsibility for routine tasks in administering backups and antivirus systems
- Perform scheduled test restorations of files and complete systems
- Assume backup responsibility role for Exchange, SharePoint, Citrix, Active Directory, Linux, and other applications and servers
- Configure and install server and network hardware
- Upgrade and patch server and network operating systems and software as needed
Position Requirements:
- Ability to work under pressure in troubleshooting and resolving complex problems
- Experience managing Active Directory/Azure AD environments
- Experience designing Azure environments and resources
- Experience creating templates to deploy Azure resources
- Experience creating and maintaining PowerShell scripts
- Knowledgeable in current network/server technology and ability to adapt to new technology
- Ability to work with vendor sales staff when acquiring new products and the ability to work with vendor technical support staff when resolving problems
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science and 5+ years of experience in systems administration
