About the Role
Your Responsibilities
- Analyze existing production processes and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflow and reduce waste
- Design and layout production lines, workstations, and equipment configurations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new manufacturing processes
- Conduct time studies and establish standard work procedures
- Utilize CAD software to create detailed layouts and drawings
- Program industrial equipment and robots for automated production
- Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve production issues
Who we are looking for
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Industrial Engineer role within an automotive manufacturing facility
- Strong knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485)
- Proficient in conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions
