Responsibilities: - Prepare and review individual and business tax returns - Ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations - Research and interpret tax laws to provide accurate advice to clients - Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial information - Analyze financial data and documents to identify potential deductions or credits - Assist clients in resolving any tax-related issues or concerns - Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred - Previous experience as a Tax Preparer or in a similar role - Strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles and practices - Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks - Excellent 10-key typing skills for accurate data entry - Ability to perform technical accounting tasks, such as reconciliations and financial analysis - Strong math skills for calculating taxes and analyzing financial data - Ability to analyze complex financial concepts and explain them to clients in a clear manner - Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive experience for clients - Familiarity with financial sales concepts is a plus If you are detail-oriented, have a strong understanding of tax laws, and enjoy working with numbers, we encourage you to apply for the position of Tax Preparer.
