Immigration Paralegal

Job Overview:
Seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal to join our team on a case by case contract basis. As an Immigration Paralegal, you will be assisting one senior attorney and her staff in managing immigration cases allocated to you and providing support throughout the legal process. This remote job requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of immigration law.

Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing and filing immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation; U, H1B, L, O, E visas and consular visa processing
- Conduct legal research on immigration laws, regulations, and procedures
- Draft legal documents, including declarations briefs
- Contact clients to gather necessary information for case preparation
- Maintain case files and ensure all documents are properly organized and filed
- Coordinate with clients, government agencies, and other parties involved in the immigration process
- Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain confidentiality of client information at all times

Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Immigration Paralegal or similar role
- Strong knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures
- Proficient in legal case management software
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Pay: $22.11 - $26.63 per hour
