The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and experienced Immigration Paralegal with a passion for advocacy for the immigrant community. As an Immigration Paralegal, you will be responsible for managing your caseload, supporting the Legal Assistants, and ensuring the smooth operation of our legal department.
This is a full-time in-person position at our office in Warrenville IL. The schedule is Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. And you will be reporting to the CEO and HR Manager.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze consultation notes and collaborate with the attorney to strengthen immigration applications
- Assist attorney in preparing and filing immigration petitions
- Assemble petitions and application packages
- Assist clients in gathering necessary information and documentation
- Write detailed support letters and other correspondence
- Data entry and status tracking of cases you are working on and cases that are pending with USCIS
- Keep our clients and files updated, including our immigration software, CampLegal
- Maintain excellent communication with our clients over the phone, email, and in person
- Communicate with governmental agencies and other agencies as needed
- Communicate with clients, providing updates on case progress and explaining the next steps in the immigration process
- Additional administrative duties may include answering phones, scheduling appointments, taking payments, keeping the office organized, delivering mail to the post office, and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Immigration Paralegal
- Fully bilingual in Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages
- Work effectively under pressure, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of productivity
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct
