SalaryAre you passionate about immigration law and eager to make a positive impact on people's lives? Fayad Law is seeing a dedicated and driven paralegal to work in our EOIR Division.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the EOIR attorneys in all aspects of the removal process.
- Assign tasks & supervise the work of legal assistants.
- Complete and review different immigration applications.
- Draft letters, memos, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Prepare files for attorney review.
- File documents with USCIS, Immigration courts, DOJ, and others.
- Communicate with clients regarding supporting documents and other case requirements.
- Monitor client's upcoming cases and deadlines.
What we're looking for:
- Excellent English and Spanish writing and communication skills.
- Strong passion for immigration law and a genuine desire to make a difference.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment as a team player producing a high volume of work.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the areas of affirmative asylum and removal defense is required.
- Proficiency in office technology, data management, and computer skills (Printing, Scanning, Email, Microsoft Office, google business...)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Cultural sensitivity and empathy for clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent work ethic and the ability to learn new tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
