Job Summary
You are part innovator and part motivator. In addition to providing direct supervision to ILS Coaches, the ILS (Independent Living Skills) Program Supervisor will oversee all activities of the program under the guidance of our Executive Director. Must be willing to drive in the greater Sacramento area.
As part of our ILS Program, we provide direct support to our clients in their homes, teaching various, functional, independent living skills, and improving their abilities to participate in meaningful activities and develop connections to community resources. ILS Services are delivered in one-to-one (1:1) or group (1:3) settings.
Program Supervisors are key members of the program's leadership team, implementing program structure, monitoring and evaluating budgets, and overseeing the program's daily operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide oversight of the day-to-day operations and direct supervision of ILS Life Skills Coaches as assigned.
- Manage budget, forecasting & client projections for their assigned county regularly.
- Assist with hiring, performance evaluation, and progressive disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Ensure quality service delivery according to the appropriate program design for our clients by monitoring and evaluating service delivery.
- Attend county/community meetings, as assigned, and communicate all relevant information with appropriate staff in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with ILS Life Skill Coaches to review client reports and documentation for accuracy and completion, ensuring all is audit-ready, and implementing corrective action plans, as necessary.
- Provide monthly staff trainings as required, and ensure all staff's certifications and necessary documentation remain current at all times.
- Research, compile and analyze data for special projects, reports, and audits as assigned.
- Must maintain current working knowledge of the Independent Living Skills program, the Department of Developmental Services (DDS), and the Regional Centers in accordance with federal & state laws.
- Ensure ILS staff maintain a prominent level of confidentiality and protection of client rights.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualification:
Basic Computer skills, using email, WORD, excel reports
*Experience:
2 years of People Management experience
2 years of Conflict Resolution experience
2 years of management experience in a similar field, working with those with disabilities.
3 years of experience working with the disabled community in a work related or personal setting.
Knowledge/Skills:
You must be organized, have critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, and take initiative. Excellent communication is essential. In addition, you must be personable, adaptable, quick-thinking, and creative. We are looking for a candidate with a warm, and engaging personality, and will be a great fit for our team.
