Location & Travel: An Incumbent In This Role Can Be Located In & Based Out Of Anywhere In The Continental United States And Will Travel Up To 50% Of The Time During Each Month, If Beyond The Omaha, NE-Metropolitan-Area

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Field Operations Manager to oversee and lead our insulation installation field training. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, insulation techniques, and project coordination. As a Field Operations Manager for the corporate iFOAM team, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and high-quality insulation installation training, coaching field crews, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This role is tailor-made for someone with a passion for sharing insights, refining skills, and fostering growth within our insulation installation projects. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in construction management and insulation techniques, coupled with a strong commitment to cultivating a learning-oriented environment.
Key Accountabilities:
- Training & Skill Development:
- Design and implement comprehensive training programs for insulation technicians and field crews, covering installation techniques, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
- Identify skill gaps and create targeted training modules to address areas of improvement.
- Foster continuous learning by staying updated on the latest advancements in insulation materials and installation methods.
- Project Leadership:
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to insulation teams, ensuring their understanding of project specifications, techniques, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop detailed plans, sharing your insights to optimize insulation solutions.
- Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional workmanship, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards.
- Educational Resources:
- Develop educational materials, including manuals, videos, and presentations, to facilitate knowledge transfer and enhance on-the-job learning.
- Maintain a resource library that technicians can access for reference and continuous skill enhancement.
- Quality Enhancement:
- Work closely with teams to raise the bar on the quality of insulation installations by sharing advanced techniques and industry insights.
- Conduct regular assessments of projects, offering constructive feedback and guidance to improve the team's performance.
- Safety and Compliance Culture:
- Champion a safety-first culture by integrating safety protocols and best practices into all training initiatives.
- Ensure that training materials highlight safety measures and emphasize their importance in every aspect of insulation work.
- Collaborative Communication:
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and cross-functional teams to exchange knowledge, share insights, and contribute to project success.
- Keep stakeholders informed about training progress and its positive impact on project outcomes.
- GED or high school diploma required
- Minimum of five (5) years of construction management experience
- Minimum of Three (3) years of Spray Foam Insulation experience
- SPFAPCP (Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance Professional Certification Program) Installer certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of insulation materials, techniques, and industry best practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with discretion as appropriate
- In-field troubleshooting and independent decision-making for successful outcomes
- Management of multiple projects simultaneously and prioritization of tasks effectively
- Collaborative approach for continued teamwork
- Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools
- Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in the construction industry
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear.
- Use vision abilities including: close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color.
- Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions/circumstances such as with ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment, wires, ducts, crawl spaces, attics, above ceilings, etc.
- Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule with “on call availability” and must be able to travel on short notice.
- Must be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods
