Job Title: District Operations Manager

Janitorial Industry Job Summary:

As a District Operations Manager in the Janitorial industry, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing area managers and accounts within Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota and Kansas.

Your primary responsibility is to ensure efficient and quality cleaning services, adhering to company standards, and exceeding client expectations through the development of excellent area managers under your guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

· Team Supervision Training and Leadership: - Provide comprehensive training, coaching, and guidance to janitorial area managers and cleaning personnel. –

· Foster a culture of teamwork and compliance with industry and company policies and protocols, though continuous improvement, and training.

· Facilitate ongoing training and growth opportunities to enhance staff skills and knowledge. –

· Keep employees informed and ensure their adherence to cleaning protocols, though regular communication and by completing inspections of the work you expect. –

· Enforce safety regulations, conduct monthly safety meetings, and share industry best practices. –

· Hold area manager and staff accountable for their performance according to company policies. –

· Maintain organized tracking of all employee and account information.

Client Relationship Management:

  • · Establish and maintain strong client relationships to understand their cleaning requirements and expectations. –
  • · Responsively and professionally address client inquiries and requests. –
  • · Conduct quarterly client assessments to ensure satisfaction and identify areas for improvement. –
  • · Promote additional sales opportunities based on client needs.
  • Excellent customer service with the ability to respond to the needs of the client.

Operational Oversight: -

· Monitor and manage daily Janitorial Operations, ensuring services consistently meet quality standards. –

· Effectively schedule and allocate resources, including staff, equipment, and supplies.

· Supervise scheduled tasks to ensure compliance with contractual commitments.

· Oversee warehouse staff, equipment, and inventory to optimize operational efficiency.

· Collaborate with the Hiring Manager to address janitorial staffing requirements.

Budget and Financial Management: -

· Develop and manage the district's budget, focusing on cost-efficiency. –

· Monitor expenses and overtime, analyze financial reports, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth. –

· Prepare and submit regular reports on operational and financial performance to higher management.

Quality Assurance: -

· Implement rigorous quality control measures to consistently meet or exceed client expectations. –

· Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and quality. –

· Address any issues promptly and propose effective solutions for improvement.
