Job Description:
GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cape Cod Community College is seeking a part-time Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment (IBAS) Project Coordinator. This is a two-year, grant-funded position created to support the College's efforts in developing a one-year advanced manufacturing "technologist" certificate program. Under this grant, the College will work with partner companies, other community colleges, and vocational high schools to provide significant curriculum recommendations. Once completed, online education content will be free and available on the DoD edX platform to any school, company, or government agency.
The individual in this role will coordinate the College's responsibilities for the grant "IBAS National Imperative for Industrial Skills Full Proposal: Advanced Manufacturing Technologist Training for the Aerospace & Defense Industry of Massachusetts" including project management, coordination of meetings, distribution of materials, data collection, and budget monitoring.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
  1. Prepare agendas and coordinate meetings with faculty and staff.
  2. Assist faculty and staff in offering the program results as way to expand our reach and diversity of students and establish precedence for statewide dissemination.
  3. Collaborate with internal grants office and the Massachusetts Technological Collaborative and other organizations involved with the project.
  4. Monitor timelines and goals of the grant to ensure implementation and service delivery as described by the funded grant program, including staffing, programmatic, and fiscal obligations.
  5. Provide administrative support for the STEM Dean and staff including meeting scheduling and event planning in support of the grant.
  6. Promote and sustain positive working relationships with all stakeholders.
  7. Participate in meetings on and off campus as they pertain to the project, including regional and statewide meetings related to the project.
  8. Track project expenditures to ensure consistency with grant and College budget process.
  9. Track project data and take responsibility for grant reporting (including goals, outcomes and evaluations, and other items as required by the College or by the funding agency).
  10. Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with grant funder regulations and guidelines.
  11. Write and submit reports in collaboration with collaborators, STEM Dean and faculty.
  12. Perform other duties, as assigned.

Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Bachelor's degree.
  2. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to work in a team environment and work collaboratively.
  4. Demonstrated experience with grant management and reporting.
  5. Demonstrated experience with project management.

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:
Experience in advanced manufacturing and/or workforce development sectors.

Additional Information:
COMPENSATION: $32.00 per hour for up to 18 hours per week. Part-time, non-benefited MCCC Unit Position.
