FACILITIES SERVICE PROJECT COORDINATOR
FULL-TIME ONSITE
For over 35 years, North Hill, a not-for-profit senior living community located in Needham, Massachusetts, has provided vibrant living opportunities to people 65+ by offering a host of hospitality, wellness and health care services. The Project Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of daily and preventive maintenance activities across campus, provides superior customer service to our senior independent living community and is responsible to maintain all related records.
Job Specific Duties

  • Communicates with Residents, Team Members, outside vendors and contractors to schedule routine maintenance
  • Responds to Resident inquiries regarding maintenance issues
  • Responsible for maintaining the work order system and the coordination of work orders for repair requests made in the WorxHub platform
  • Receives and follows maintenance schedule and instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established policies and procedures
  • Maintains critical documents such as inspection certificates, building permits and plant inventory
  • Coordinates Resident apartment refurbishing in a manner that is least disruptive to the occupant by ordering supplies and overseeing the project to completion
  • Performs preventive maintenance audits as directed
  • Adapts schedule when necessary to accommodate emergency situations related to weather, Department of Public Health, state of emergency and other unforeseen circumstances
  • Completes required education in a timely manner and participates in all maintenance training programs. Comply with all safety and environmental procedures, including hazardous control, all regulatory compliance and other building awareness programs.
  • Responds to radio calls promptly and professionally
  • Meets department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements
  • Complies with all OSHA safety regulations, local applicable laws regarding health, safety or environment
  • Could walk 3-4 miles a day
Required Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and strong customer support skills
  • Complies with protection of health information (HIPAA) safeguards
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Work professionally with people from a wide variety of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with Team Members, Residents, family members, visitors, and the general public
  • When working in Resident areas, must be able to communicate effectively in English
  • Attends and participates in in-service educational classes, Healthcare Academy and staff meetings as directed
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associates Degree preferred
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in a related field
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License
  • Proficient with computer software programs
