Our client is seeking a motivated individual to join our Human Resources team in Winamac, IN (Relocation is available)
We're looking for someone who embraces change, is driven, and can inspire others both within and outside the department. Effective communication across all organizational levels is essential. With plenty of opportunities for innovation and problem-solving, the right candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing our department. Integrity, professionalism, and a balanced perspective are vital for our Human Resource Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the management and implementation of Human Resources Policies, Procedures, Guidelines, and Tools for the designated mill.
- Collaborate with the Vice President of Human Resources to customize organizational HR policies to the mill's specific context, ensuring they're comprehensive and well-understood by staff.
- Conduct on-site employee training, facilitating the development and execution of appropriate HR management responses, including plans and Standard Operating Procedures aligned with Plymouth’s policy and standards.
- Provide expert HR advice across all levels of Plymouth staff, overseeing overall HR functions such as workforce planning, recruitment, staff administration management, and more for designated mills.
- Engage in departmental activities, pursuing continuous education, participation in annual conferences, and research endeavors.
