Job responsibilities: Responsible for coordinating and implementing the career preparation period program for new students.
Essential functions:
Plan, coordinate and conduct the CP program and other activities and lessons by using a variety of teaching strategies to meet student learning needs.
Recommend an appropriate training program for each assigned student using background files, personal interviews, tests, and other assessment tools.
Provide students with employment, career training, personal and social adjustment counseling on an individual and group basis.
Continuously evaluate individual students attitudes, participation, and commitment in career preparation program, intervene when inappropriate behaviors are observed.
Maintain documentation and training records for each student.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Associate's Degree Required and 2 years related experience
Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements
A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
