Overview:

We are seeking an Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR functions. This is an opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization by providing comprehensive HR support and expertise.

Duties:

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance management, and offboarding
  • Administer HR programs and policies in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Conduct employee relations activities, including addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive work environment
  • Support talent management initiatives, including performance evaluations, succession planning, and career development
  • Utilize HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee records and generate reports as needed
  • Manage HR projects as assigned, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project goals
  • Understands the company’s Attendance Policy and maintains an exemplary attendance record.
  • Maintains an active membership in professional affiliations and participates in professional education activities in the field of Human Resources and Healthcare.
  • Establishes and maintains an effective working relationship with administrators, managers, doctors, all staff members and the public.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of all corporate and departmental policies and procedures and complies with the Employee Handbook.
  • Performs other tasks as needed or directed.

DEGREE OF SUPERVISION:

Performs activities under direct and indirect supervision.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Reports directly to the Director of Human Resources.
  • Must have bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or in a related field.
  • Must know and understand federal and state laws that apply to Human Resources.
  • Must understand and be able to effectively communicate company policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to effectivelyuse a computer.
  • Must be able to effectively operate Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HRIS system.
  • Must be able to type efficiently.
  • Requires perception in detecting and avoiding errors.
  • Experience with talent management processes such as performance evaluations and succession planning
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex situations and provide effective solutions
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to drive projects to successful completion
  • Physical activity involves much sitting and some walking, standing, carrying, bending, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling, keying, grasping, talking, reading, hearing, and repetitive motions resulting in light work.
  • Light - must be able to lift or carry up to 10 pounds of weight up to 10 feet often (up to 1/3 of the time). Light work requires sitting most of the time, but may involve periods of standing, walking and carrying objects depending on task requirements.
  • Works in an office setting, which is well lighted, ventilated and temperature regulated. Travels regularly to all clinic sites.
  • Must be able to concentrate on work tasks amidst distractions, such as noise, conversations and foot traffic.
  • Must be able to work in a confined area performing repetitive work for extended periods of time.
  • In office minimal. May require long periods of sitting, keying, and looking at a computer screen.
  • Must have responsible, ethical and professional manner with the ability to listen, learn and organize. Must be able to communicate effectively with people of different races, sexes, ages and social classes in volatile situations.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
