Responsibilities:
Assists with the administration of compensation and/or benefit plans; may assist with the talent acquisition, recruitment, and onboarding processes to include staff employees, physicians, faculty and residents and works with external departments related to this process as applicable; assists with employee status change requests and maintenance of current employee records; processes Personnel Actions Forms in accordance with Payroll deadlines; investigates discrepancies related to Personnel Actions Forms and makes corrections as needed; assists department managers or secretaries responsible for completing Personnel Action Forms and effectively communicates Payroll deadlines for compliance; provides support to managers on various HR related topics such as status changes, title changes, FTE allocations, compensation updates, as well as benefits and leaves of absence; upports the development of efficient work processes for implementation and HR policy development; undertakes tasks around performance evaluation management; gathers and may assist in the analysis of data for useful HR metrics, like employee retention and turnover metrics; develops, maintains, and organizes various data bases to meet the needs of the department, such as PA’s, evaluations, and disciplinary actions; maintains employee records in the HRIS system for accuracy and confidentiality; enhances job satisfaction by resolving concerns for managers and employees promptly; maintains compliance with labor regulations by keeping current on FLSA guidelines; improves the customer experience in Human Resources through problem-solving and effective communication skills; performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale; maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in Human Resources, talent management, and employment law; assists with payroll processing; may cover for other HR office positions as needed at varying locations of USA HR; participates in Performance Improvement activities through quality measurement or participation of ICARE process as assigned; regular and prompt attendance; ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required; related duties as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. Ten years of progressive Human Resources or related administrative experience will substitute for education.
