SalaryAll public hotel space including front entrance, lobby areas, restaurants, public restrooms, elevators, pool areas and service areas including employee locker rooms, offices and Housekeeping department. Clean and stock all assigned Public Areas of the hotel ensuring that all procedures are completed to the hotel's standards.
1) Pick-up assignment sheet and review priorities.
2) Pick-up designated keys and beepers. Ensure security of keys and pager at all times.
3) Follow through on any additions or changes to the assignment sheets as they arise throughout the shift.
4) Check supply levels in storage closets. Complete requisition for additional supplies needed and submit to manager/supervisor.
5) Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas. Rectify any deficiencies.
6) Check carts/caddies for proper supplies, neatness, cleanliness and mechanical problems. Correct any deficiencies.
7) Clean Public Areas/bathrooms, restaurants, fitness center, pool area, offices and service areas using designated checklists. Ensure that cleanliness and condition of each area meets designated standards. Correct any relayed or sighted deficiencies.
8) Complete work orders for maintenance repairs and submit to Housekeeping Office Coordinator. Contact Engineering directly for urgent repairs.
9) Accommodate guest requests for Housekeeping items or additional supplies expediently and courteously. Follow up on delivery and return of all such items.
10) Monitor and handle guest complaints by following the instant pacification procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction.
11) Respond to all pages by beeper promptly.
12) Document pertinent information in department logbook.
13) Complete all paperwork and closing duties before leaving.
14) Successfully complete the training/certification process.
