Job Title/High Level Position Summary:
As an HR Generalist and Employee Relations Specialist, you will serve as a key liaison between employees and management, providing support and guidance on a wide range of HR-related matters. This dual-role position combines the responsibilities of a traditional HR Generalist with a focus on Employee Relations, ensuring a positive work environment and effective resolution of workplace issues.
This is an on-site position that will require the candidate to be in the office 5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:

• Employee Relations Management:
  • Manage Employee Relations matters, including grievances, complaints, and conflicts, and conduct thorough investigations as needed.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Mediate disputes between employees or between employees and management, fostering open communication and conflict resolution.
  • Implement strategies to promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.
• HR Generalist Duties:
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Participate in the recruitment process by partnering with Talent Acquisition and Management in posting job openings, conducting interviews, and assisting with onboarding activities.
  • Performance Management: Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and coaching discussions.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate training initiatives, assess training needs, and facilitate employee development programs.
  • HR Policy and Compliance: Assist in implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
  • Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  • HR Reporting: Prepare HR metrics and reports to track key performance indicators and support decision-making processes.

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

• BA in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on Employee Relations
• Knowledge of employment law and practices
• Excellent communication and communication skills
• Proven ability to build rapport and trust with employees and management.
• Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
• Detail orientation
• High level of comfort dealing with ambiguity
• Self-starter
