JOB STATEMENT: The Human Resources Generalist must be a well-rounded Human Resources professional that is highly competent and experienced.
Essential Duties:
*Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook and policies and procedures
*Maintains company organization charts
*Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed
*Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
*Facilitates or provides training to management on policies and procedures
*Distributes and monitors employee performance evaluations and ensures they are done in a timely manner (i.e., three months, six months, one year and yearly thereafter)
*Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars
*Coaches, counsels and guides managers before executing employee disciplinary actions
*Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing
*Labor reporting
*Administer termination
*Work hand in hand with payroll department
*Administer FMLA and leave of absences
Education/Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of HR/Generalist experience
- Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Human Resources preferred
- Previous work experience in Human Resources role
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Expertise with HCM systems
- Experience with Paycom or other timekeeping systems
- Experience as an HR team member in a production environment is also preferred

Pay: $70,720.00 - $101,000.00 per year
