Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations:Provide proactive support to managers and employees, offering guidance on employee relations issues and disciplinary processes. Conduct investigations and manage terminations in compliance with legal standards.
- Consulting: Offer HR guidance and solutions to management, ensuring adherence to company policies, employment laws, and HR procedures.
- Benefits Administration: Lead Open Enrollment, manage general benefit information, and handle inquiries related to LOA, SDI, and EDD.
- Staffing and Recruiting: Oversee full recruitment lifecycle, including interviewing, onboarding, and HR orientation.
- Policy and Procedure Compliance: Ensure employees and management are informed about company policies and legal compliance requirements.
- HRIS Administration: Maintain accurate employee records and perform regular audits of HR information systems.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs, develop materials, and conduct sessions to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years in progressive HR roles, with additional 2-3 years' experience as an administrative/executive assistant. HRIS experience, specifically with Rippling, is preferred.
- Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in human resources or a related field. Official HR training certifications are highly regarded.
- Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, G-Suite, with strong verbal and written communication abilities. Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations is essential.
