Our Company is growing and so is the Human Resources Department. We are currently seeking an energetic and talented individual to join our team as a Human Resources Generalist in our Corporate Office located in Chicago.

- Create and maintain employee records in CMiC system
- Maintenance can include but is not limited to hiring, terminations, rate changes, address changes, tax changes, transfers, promotions, demotions, direct deposit.
- Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure compliance with government and company regulations
- Administer employee benefits such as FMLA leave, living allowances, auto benefits, flexible spending, 401k, etc.
- Develop and conduct various HR training programs
- Assist with periodic review and update to various Company policies and/or procedures
- Generate various reports or develop new adhoc reports as needed
- Effectively communicate with all levels of employees including regional offices.
- Must be able to work in fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and prioritize workflow according to both urgency and importance
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Excellent customer service skills, written and oral
- General understanding of all major US federal employment laws (Title VII, ADA, FMLA, USERRA, FLSA, etc.). A plus if you are familiar with Canadian/Ontario regulations.
- Previous Human Resources work experience, 2-3 years is desired
- Working knowledge of MS Office Applications
- Knowledge of the OFCCP program a plus
- Canadian experience is a plus
