Human Resources Generalist

JOB SUMMARY:

Assist in implementing all Human Resources activities, policies, and programs. Responsibilities include recruiting and staffing, employee onboarding and training, policy documentation, and coordination of employee benefits.

KEY RESPONSIBLITITES:

• Implement strategies for recruiting and staffing.
• Document all policies and issues to ensure compliance with employment regulatory bodies.
• Maintain employee onboarding, development, needs assessment, and training materials including scheduling.
• Coordinate and document organizational performance evaluation process.
• Update and produce employee handbook and employee communication.
• Manage employee safety, welfare, wellness and health programs.
• Post recruitment announcements. Track and analyze employment markets and makes suggestions for recruitment efforts.
• Edit company job descriptions ensuring consistency and accuracy.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and set appropriate expectations with current and prospective employees.
• Represents the HR Manager at meetings and other forums as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5 years’ experience in Human Resources or related field.
• Familiarity with recruiting and retaining quality employees.
• Strong commitment to employee development (including an emphasis on recruitment and retention)
