Manager, External Audit Generalist (Multiple Positions)

Manager, External Audit Generalist (Multiple Positions), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Atlanta, GA. Apply business advice of technical accounting and financial reporting standards to proactively identify and articulate emerging technical issues. Adhere to auditing standards and firm audit methodology to reinforce compliance requirements and evaluate and respond to the results of audit procedures. Assist clients with solving complex business issues from strategy to execution. Provide clients value through digitization, automation and increased efficiencies. Use project management skills to maximize the effectiveness of the audit, managing and prioritizing issues based on materiality and risk. Develop project strategies to solve complex technical challenges for clients. Supervise and coach teams.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Accounting, Tax, or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Accounting, Tax, or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.

Certification required: US CPA or foreign equivalent.

Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:

• Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools;

• Applying the audit approach, including the application of applicable auditing standards and firm audit methodology;

• Assisting the preparation of financial statements in accordance with the applicable financial reporting framework including compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and directives of regulatory authorities; and

• Working with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States (U.S. GAAP), United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (U.S. GAAS) and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards.

80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.

Domestic and/or international travel up to 80% is required.
