Job Description
The position is at a technology company. We are seeking an experienced HR Director with experience working in global or multi-location environments; has outstanding people skills to ensure that our Human Resources programs and initiatives are effective, efficient, and aligned to overall business objectives. Duties for the HR Director will be effectively executed through the lens of Attract, Develop, Retain and also include supervising HR team members.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing Human Resources strategies and policies.
- Supporting strategic business objectives.
- Create and implement staffing strategies.
- Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
- Managing staff wellness
- Own the talent management processes.
- Designing and directing training programs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years progressive Human Resources experience.
- Experience in both HR operations & administration.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Proven track record of building strong working relationships with business and human resource partners while fostering a cooperative work environment.
- Strong project management skills, coordinating multiple concurrent highly complex and high priority projects with considerable internal and external dependencies.
- Track record of solving large, complex problems and producing measurable results.
- Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and remain objective while working with sensitive and confidential materials.
- Exposure to HRIS software. Working knowledge of Workday is an asset.
- Ability to use the full capabilities of Excel for data analysis.
- Bachelor's degree and Human Resources certification (SHRM) or equivalent.
- Must be willing to travel internationally as required.
