As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will perform administrative activities of the Human Resources Department, support organizational staffing objectives, administer employee benefit and leave programs, and provide exceptional customer service by having a thorough understanding the organization, personnel policies and practices, recruitment process, and employee benefit programs.
Your duties as the Human Resources Coordinator will include:
- Provide excellent customer service to staff, addressing and resolving concerns.
- Maintain HR database for current and past employees.
- Source and recruit for open positions; review resumes, conduct phone screens, complete employment references and background checks.
- Coordinate offer, new hire paperwork and onboarding process.
- Coordinate short-term disability, FMLA, and ADA claims and manage leave schedules.
- Act as primary resource for staff on employee benefit program
To be successful, you should have:
- High School Diploma and/or an advanced degree in human resource management or a related field or equivalent education, training, and experience required.
- 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources, recruitment and benefits administration preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, Human resources information systems, and applicant tracking systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- PHR certification is a plus.
