A Brief Overview:
You will join a team of 28 partners in the multispecialty General Surgery Division, specifically with 9 surgeons dedicated to acute care/trauma services. The division is also comprised of fellowship trained surgeons in colorectal, minimally invasive, bariatric, and hepatobiliary subspecialties
.
Responsibilities include:
- Emergency general surgery, coverage for our Level 1 Trauma Center at Evanston Hospital in Cook County, Level II Trauma coverage at Highland Park Hospital, Glenbrook Hospital and ICU coverage for our surgical patients.
- Oversees Residency and Fellowship Programs through the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.
- Teaching opportunities, academic appointment
- Research opportunities are available for interested and qualified candidates.
