Onsite position. The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for full cycle recruiting and supporting HR activities in a manufacturing environment. Position will oversee Applicant Tracking System and its processes, as well as provide support across the plant. Additional scope includes leading orientation and training coordination, time and attendance/payroll support, accurate and timely performing various clerical, data management and for maintaining accurate, up-to-date personnel records. This position supports the Human Resources Department and reports to the Sr. Generalist/HR Supervisor.
- Work with human resource managers/supervisors to define candidate qualifications and business hiring needs.
- Review resumes, assess qualifications and move candidates through standard recruiting processes efficiently
- Conduct phone screens on qualified candidates.
- Manage recruiting via social media presence.
- Proactively source qualified candidates through various methods including on campus recruiting events, job postings, networking events, employee referrals, online sourcing tools, etc.
- Provide follow-up and feedback to candidates in a timely manner.
- Build positive relationships with candidates and hiring managers/teams.
- Communicate new employee hires, promotions, and anniversaries internally.
- Complete recruiting special projects and general tasks as needed.
- Conduct employee orientation. Conduct follow-up check ins at two-week, 30 days, 60 days, etc. for new hires.
- Conducts on-boarding process by coordinating with recruitment, employment background screening, drug testing, new hire orientation and communication with relevant departments, managers and personnel.
- Identify innovative, cost-effective sources for quality candidates.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all candidate and sensitive data.
- Provide regular updates to hiring managers regarding candidates and vacancies.
- Terminations -send department notifications, pull employee files to prepare for long-term storage, perform exit surveys.
- Answer inquiries from employees and third parties.
- Assists department in carrying out various Human Resources programs and procedures for all company employees
- Maintains employee files and HRIS assuring accuracy, compliance and confidentiality to include, verification of Eligibility to Work (I-9), required documents, signatures and employee data
- All other duties as assigned and within scope of expectations of role.
- 3+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience in a growing, fast paced environment
- Associates degree or related experience in Human Resources or Recruiting
- Knowledge of federal and state employment and labor laws
- Good communication/interpersonal skills: Interacting with all levels of the organization
- Must be extremely organized, accurate and detail oriented.
- Independent and organized work style: Effectively manage time and prioritize workload, assume and manage multiple tasks without close supervision, adapt to change, and consistently meet deadlines. Ability to make independent decisions and regularly suggest ways to improve services and processes.
- Strong PC skills/aptitude. Intermediate Proficiency in MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Experience using HR systems (ideally Ceridian and iCIMS).
