Purpose
To perform the payroll administrative functions for Bay Human Services
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Education and/or experience in payroll or human resources
- ADP payroll experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Microsoft Office experience required
Essential Functions
Manage and process all elements of payroll for hourly staff.
Travel
Travel daily to local post office to retrieve mail.
Duties
- Review hourly timecards for any missing information, discrepancies, or errors
- Work closely with all managers on timecard requirements
- Ensure that pay practices are documented, timecards are monitored, and merit increases are completed within the required timeframe
- Assist Director in processing bi-weekly payroll
- Prepare payroll related documents and reports as needed (Garnishments, Friend of the Court, etc.)
- Assist with administrative duties such as scanning, uploading, filing, completing employment verifications, and other tasks as needed
