General Ledger Accountant

The General Ledger Accountant is integral to the BEST Crowd Management Finance department. Working with the BEST Finance team and GardaWorld Corporate Accounting, the successful candidate will assist in month-end closing and reviewing the general ledger throughout the month. This position requires proactive thinking and the ability to meet daily challenges with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Principle Funtional Reponsabilities

• Reviewing & auditing vendor invoices to ensure BEST is billed appropriately
• Properly coding vendor invoices to send to Accounts Payable
• Review ledger during the month to identify and inaccurate coding
• Recommend process improvements to streamline expense entry
• Create new reporting to track spending
• Assist Director of Finance with month-end close responsbilities

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-5 years of experience as a General Ledger Accountant or similar role.
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and financial reporting.

Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 / year
