The HR Coordinator is a critical member of our highly service-oriented HR team and acts as an initial point of contact to address the administrative and service needs of our staff. The HR Coordinator leverages problem solving and the HRIS system (Paycom) to solve simple inquiries and escalates more complex issues to the appropriate HR colleague.
The HR Coordinator is highly organized, manages shifting priorities, and is “game” to pivot and change in their role as needed. The ideal candidate is expected to be a conceptual thinker with fantastic organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to multitask and adapt in an ever-changing environment.
The HR Coordinator must be flexible in understanding that their tasks may vary according to the cyclical nature of the organization’s hiring cycles.
PRIMARY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Inputs new hires and changes into our HRIS system. Updates HRIS information as needed
- Assists with the onboarding of new hires and adjunct staff. Ensure all pre-employment requirements are met
- Assists with I-9 Everywhere processes
- Trouble shoots inquiries/cases from HR Questions and directly from our employee base
- Interfaces with benefits and Paycom vendors to troubleshoot issues
- Assists with internal and external HR related inquiries or requests such as employment verifications, etc.
- Assist with payroll and ad hoc HR projects
- Assists in cyclical tasks such as benefits open enrollment, new hire onboarding, offboarding,
- Assist with audits

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Demonstrated extraordinary service experience
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Preferred 1-3 years of experience in HR function
- Minimum High School diploma, bachelor’s degree preferred
- Working knowledge of office systems including Microsoft Windows suite
WORK SCHEDULE AND LOCATION REQUIREMENTS
- This is a hybrid position. Up to 2 days a week in person will be required. Days in the office may vary depending on the time of year and needs of the office.
