JOB TITLE: Human Resource Coordinator
MINIMUN AGE REQUIREMENTS: 21 Years of age
GENERAL SUMMARIES OF DUTIES: Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of responsible clerical and office duties in the Human Resource Department.
REPORTS TO: Controller
SUPERVISES: HR Clerk
TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk and sit for extended periods of time and use their hands and fingers, to feel and manipulate keys on a keyboard. While performing the responsibilities of the Human Resource job, the employee is required to talk and hear and be able to work in a noisy environment.
Typical WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in a standard office environment with public contact and frequent interruptions.
DUTIES: (INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO)
- Welcomes new employees to the organization by conduct orientation.
- Collects all appropriate paperwork for new employee files.
- Manage all Employee Benefits including medical insurances, voluntary Insurances, and 401K etc. and complies with Cafeteria Plan in place.
- Submits employee data into online payroll program
- Maintains employee confidence by keeping Human Resource information confidential.
- Staying informed with (ACA) The Affordable Care Act
- Advising terminated employees of their rights to continue group health care benefits via Cobra
- Responding to employment verifications, Housing, DHS, Child Support and Garnishments.
- Handling unemployment claims (when needed)
- Informs managers of employee evaluations.
- Perform ongoing audit of employment files. (6 months)
- Manage and complete employee action forms, I-9 documentation, W4.
- Perform other task and duties as assigned.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Basic Human Resources functions and procedures.
- Sharp Attention to detail and the ability to manage several projects at once.
- Methods and techniques for record keeping and filing.
- Exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality in maintaining critical and sensitive information, records, and reports.
- Answer questions and provide information to employees such as benefits, vacation etc.
Education/experience: At least two years Human Resources experience required (Supervisor over departments does not qualify). High School Diploma required.
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE(S): Must be able to pass state and federal background & drug screening in order to obtain a Gaming License.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
