Payroll Coordinator
Job Description
The Payroll Coordinator reports to the Payroll Supervisor and Director of Accounting and Payroll and is responsible for processing payroll for both hourly and salary employees through an outsourced payroll system.
Specific Responsibilities:

• Managing time-sheet information daily for errors and variances.
• Communicating with employees and supervisors regarding the approval of time-sheets.
• Processing of a biweekly multi-state payroll.
• Communicating with Human Resources for current employee updates within the payroll system.
• Process Payroll Adjustment forms and specialized pay schedules
• Reconciling reporting to each payroll to ensure all changes are reflected in the payroll.
• Processing and reissuing returned ACH funds.
• Addressing and resolving payroll questions from staff, faculty, and student workers.
• Preparing payroll reports reports as needed.
• Support Payroll Supervisor in all aspects of payroll processing.

Required Qualifications
Associates degree or four years of relevant experience; proficient in MS office and relevant software; Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree; knowledge of tax and wage laws; Paycom experience;
Attention to confidentiality; Accounting background
