Description
As our Talent Acquisition Coordinator, this individual serves as an ambassador for Paragon Films within the communities we serve, introducing our organization to potential teammates, community resources and organizations, maintaining an understanding of local labor markets and building a candidate pipeline for current and future openings. This role serves as a vital part of the HR Team as they promote our employer brand, work to identify new and unique methods of recruiting new talent, creating a welcome environment for all applicants, and furthering our mission to be an employer of choice.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements recruiting campaigns and strategies for primarily plant production and related roles but other roles as needed and assigned.
  • Manages job posting and applicant progress within ATS system, engaging with applicants and furthering Paragon Films employer brand.
  • Drives employer branding messaging through various social media platforms, collaborating with HR team and all Paragon employees to help create, produce, and publish content.
  • Identifies, attends, or organizes presence of Paragon Films at local career fairs.
  • Reviews incoming applications, conducts prescreen interviews, introducing potential future teammates to Paragon Films and our culture while assessing skill set and capabilities based on established requirement for each open team position.
  • Presents candidates to hiring manager, schedules onsite interviews for local Plant HR Managers and appropriate department managers.
  • Works to continuously build our applicant pipeline through continuous communication, feedback on interview status, etc. to ensure potential talent is up to date on application status.
  • Collaborates with HR department to create and maintain recruiting materials.
  • Continually seeks to source new avenues for recruiting, exploring new technologies as well as fostering relationships with local community colleges, trade schools, community organizations, etc. to further facilitate Paragon's commitment to a diverse workforce population.
  • Establishes relationship with local staffing agencies, gaining proposals, reviewing agreements, making recommendations for partnerships.
  • Stays up to date on latest social media trends for recruiting, working with Director of HR to obtain bids for new technology, submitting recommendations for partnerships with appropriate potential vendors.
  • Monitors time to fill ratios to help facilitate prompt staffing at plant level to help ensure operational excellence.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Other special projects, duties and assignments as assigned.

Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge/Skill/Ability
  • Intermediate MS Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and recruiting software and websites.
  • Creative mindset to create unique postings for employer branding utilizing company social media accounts.
  • Demonstrated Customer Service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing, ability to engage with various members of the community within diverse demographics.
  • Strong negotiation and problem resolution skills.
  • Well organized, ability to prioritize and self-motivated.
  • High level attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • The ability to adapt to fast paced, rapid changes, ability to multitask and handle unexpected delays or events while maintaining constant attention to detail.
  • Practice and promote teamwork and servant leadership style within the organization.
  • High level of dependability regarding attendance and punctuality.

EDUCATION
  • High School diploma or requivalent

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or another related field
  • Bi-lingual Spanish

Work may involve overtime. Requires adherence to deadlines and project completion deadlines.
