Job description

Eagle Brook Church is a multi-site church looking for a highly organized and relational Human Resources Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Central Office located in Centerville, MN. This person will support the Human Resources Team in the areas of scheduling, on-boarding, and record keeping. A person who is highly detailed, relational, and organized will thrive in this role. POSITION SUMMARY

Provides administrative support to the Human Resources department. Manages incoming Human Resources inquiries, disperses work to appropriate avenues, and responds to basic questions. Maintains accurate human resource records and filing systems. Partners with HR team to coordinate cohesive process execution and maintain service level excellence. Reports to the Human Resources Generalist.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enters, updates, and retrieves information from various automated, human resource and payroll systems
  • Responds to inquiries and questions from supervisors, employees, and external contacts
  • Explains routine existing Human Resources policies, procedures, and processes
  • Maintains complete and accurate file systems and records
  • Assists in conducting background check process
  • Coordinates and schedules meetings
  • Provides administrative assistance for other HR related projects
  • Upholds a high level of confidentiality
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of administrative support; experience working in a Human Resources-related field strongly preferred
  • Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook’s nine core beliefs
  • Basic knowledge of Human Resources concepts, practices, policies, and procedures
  • Proficient in MS Office products: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point; and HRIS expertise preferred
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
  • Excellent communication skills written, verbal and interpersonal
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and planning skills and strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, high energy, and strong work ethic and follow through

WORK SCHEDULE

Generally, Monday - Friday; varied hours at the Central Office located in Centerville, MN.

Classification: Hourly; Non-exempt // Status: Full-Time // Team: Human Resources
