Position Overview:*
The Human Resources Assistant will oversee various human resource functions to support the workforce. This role involves being hands on in and managing the recruitment process, ensuring employee compliance is met within each state requirement and fostering a positive company culture. This position requires a detail-oriented and highly organized professional with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for contributing to the success of our organization. Proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:*
- Collaborates with department managers to understand the skills and competencies required for openings.
- Maintains employee records in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from employees and supervisors, referring to sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Assist in the development and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative assistance to the HR team, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and organizing HR-related events.
- Maintain HR-related documentation, files, and systems in an organized manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficient with Oracle NetSuite preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish - required.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- 2+ years of HR generalist experience.
- Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
