SalaryBank of Luxemburg is adding a Sr. Accountant to our staff. This position will work closely with our Controller and will be based out of our office in Luxemburg, WI.
As an employee of the Bank, supports company culture and mission statement to Have a Positive Impact on People’s Lives. Works independently with minimal supervision while performing a variety of routine and advanced accounting functions in accordance with standard procedures. Judgment required in interpreting/applying established work procedures. Performs various balancing duties and assists Controller as needed.
Duties will include:
Completing financial, general ledger, and regulatory reporting, Performing Accounts Payable duties, Assisting our Controller and CFO in developing, implementing and controlling the company’s budgetary control functions along with various compliance monitoring and internal audit assistance and assisting in general Accounting duties.
Qualified candiates will have aBachelor’s Degree in Accounting and five years related work experience required or equivalent experience. Prior banking experience preferred. Ability to work independently or in a team. High level of ethics, integrity, and confidentiality. Above average mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. A strong sense of attention to detail. Ability to follow through on questionable items or procedures.
