ACD Direct is searching for a Human Resources Assistant. Are you a highly-skilled self-starter who is looking to grow your career and put your skills to the test? The perfect candidate will have experience handling a wide variety of personnel and administrative related tasks and the ability to provide support to our HR Team. In this fast-paced and collaborative environment you will own the various duties related to daily administration and HR support while ensuring a positive and professional experience for all.
Role Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the onboarding of new hires from offer acceptance to arrival.
- Assist with planning new employee orientation meetings and trainings.
- Assist in gathering and tracking required employee documentation during on-boarding and off-boarding.
- Responsible for fulfilling recruitment needs for departments using ATS
- Assist with HR Team communication; Recognition Programs, virtual events, Employee Engagement activities, etc.
- Support HR Team with payroll processing in BambooHR/Trax
- Maintain personnel files and self-audit data collection.
- Provide clerical support for the HR Director regarding human resources related activities, policies, and processes.
- Play an active role in our Employee Engagement, Wellness, and Philanthropy initiatives.
- Complete job-related training courses and/or seminars, as may be required for the job and/or assigned by the HR Director.
- Additional duties as may be deemed necessary by management.
What we're looking for:
- At least 1-2 years of HR related experience strongly preferred.
- Have a passion for Human Resources as a career path
- Expert in working with fully remote teams nationwide
- Highly professional, utilize good judgment, and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity.
- Excellent written, verbal, and social communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, virtual communication platforms and/or similar systems.
- Able to work independently as well as with a team and autonomously.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn and to take initiative on variety of tasks and projects.
What We Offer:
- Part Time schedule - 5 hour shift between 10am-5pm (CST)
- Position has the potential to transition to Full Time following 6 months
- $18.50-20.00/hr depending on experience
