Pay Rate: $22/hour to $27/hour
Thrive Freeze Dry a rapidly growing manufacturer of freeze dry products is currently looking for a Human Resource Assistant to join the Albion NY HR team. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role will be responsible for various activities in Human Resources.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
- The Human Resource Assistant is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level specifically for recruiting, onboarding and employee engagement activities.
- The successful candidate will be heavily focused on recruiting and staffing for production jobs and will coordinate the processes in the employment cycle from recruitment to termination.
- Utilizing ADP will be responsible for conducting onboarding for all new hires and off-boarding as employees exit the organization.
- Through a multi-faceted recruiting initiative, he or she actively partners with organizational leadership to identify staffing needs and to create accurate job descriptions, job postings and recruit.
- This role will coordinate and communicate employee engagement activities.
- Position will assist in handling employee questions as it relates to benefits, payroll, and company policies.
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
- 1-2 years' experience working in a Human Resources recruiting.
- Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) highly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and prior experience working with HRIS systems.
- Detail oriented with ability to produce accurate work and follow instructions on a routine basis.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
- AS/AA Degree or BA/BS Degree
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: - Must be able to perform the essential functions with or without accommodation.
